Moor Dental & Implant Clinic is a mixed Dental Practice, located in Ashburton, South Devon.

We are looking for an experienced & competent Dental Nurse to help add value to our Nursing team and encourage a successful and profitable Dental practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Dental Nurse and Practice Manager, to assist in the delivery of outstanding chair side support and patient care.

The practice has recently changed hands, with the new owners owning 4 other dental practices in the Devon area.
Please find below some of the requirements for the role holder and please note that:

Reporting to the Lead Dental Nurse & Practice Manager:
· Ensure that during the course of your duties you adhere exactly to the requirements as laid down in HTM01-05, without exception.
· Ensure that during the course of your duties you adhere exactly to the requirements as laid down in the GDC’s “Standards for the Dental Team”, without exception.
· Ensure that during the course of your duties you adhere exactly to the requirements as laid down in the British Association of Dental Nurses guidance, “Code of Ethics,” without exception.
· Ensure that during the course of your duties you adhere exactly to the requirements as laid down in the Moor Dental Practice company policies, without exception.
· Diligently follow your personal duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act, without exception.
· Deliver outstanding chairside support to our expert clinical team, ensuring surgeries are clean, tidy and set up in a manner befitting of a top-quality dental Practice.
· Ensure each and every patient gets outstanding customer service and always feels welcome in the Practice.
· Proactively and diligently build trusting and long-lasting relationships with the Practice team and patients,
· Help ensure stock levels are kept at the appropriate levels, taking _*action*_ when you discover a shortage or absence of stock.
· Adhere to confidentiality & data protection regulations as laid down in the company policy.
· Monitor lab work, ensuring it is available when required and following up directly with the Dental Laboratories if there are any discrepancies.
· Assist the clinical team with the completion of patient records, with a keen eye for detail in this area.
· Be a willing and productive contributor in Practice meetings.
· Maintenance of a positive, enthusiastic, and honest approach in all aspects of the job, while remaining loyal to both the customer and the employer.
· Be fully IT literate and capable of word processing efficiently and quickly, along with being competent in the use of computer systems in general and cloud-based technology.
· Must be qualified and have active registration with the GDC.
· Immunity to Hepatitis B must be proven before the role is taken up.
