Care Assistant

Description We are inviting applications for the role of Care Assistants to join our team within local authority care homes across Fife. This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate and skilled individuals who are committed to delivering high standards of care to residents. Available Shifts:Dayshift (07:30am - 15:00pm)Backshift (14:30pm - 22:00pm) Key Responsibilities:-Provide person-centred care and support in accordance with individual care plans.-Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and ensuring their dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.-Work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care is consistently delivered.-Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational policies.-Support the physical and emotional well-being of residents through attentive and compassionate care. Essential Requirements:-PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) membership, dated within the last 12 months is required for a faster application process.-SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration or willingness to apply prior to commencing employment.-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.-A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach to care.- At least 6 months care experience in the last 3 years (5 years will require a 2 day induction) What We Offer:-Competitive salary and benefits package.-Flexible working hours with a range of shifts to suit different availability.-Continuous training and professional development opportunities.-A supportive and inclusive working environment.
