Our group of domiciliary and live-in care companies help vulnerable people live independently within the comfort of their own homes.   Berkeley Home Health are looking for a driven applicant to become the next Care Coordinator at our East of England branch.    Role Purpose: To coordinate and schedule the delivery of care to clients. To take responsibility for creating and optimising the staff rotas ensuring efficient service allocation so that customer and staff satisfaction is maintained. Work closely with Care Manager within allocated team to support clients and carers. To ensure that high quality standards of care are delivered and maintained by working closely with Team Leaders and the Senior Carers in the field to ensure that suitably qualified care workers are assigned to calls and that high levels of customer service are maintained. To support the Care Manager, Registered Manager and Directors to deliver the growth targets for the business.   You will be required to patriciate in the on-call rota to be the first point of contact for our clients or carers and to record and report any issues/ emergencies whilst on call.   You will also need to take on the responsibilities of a Team Leader on an occasional basis as requested by the Care Manager or a Director of the company and respond to clients’ illness by contacting GP/ambulance service/next of kin and record action taken. Report action and outcome to Registered Manager and other involved parties.    Person Specification: Experience of working within a domiciliary care environment, ideally qualified to QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care (or equivalent) Good written communication skills A good telephone manner & excellent verbal communication skills Strong planning and organisation skills To be skilled in working with computers (MS Office applications, email etc) Trinity Homecare Group is a specialist in delivering care in people’s own homes.
