Company DescriptionAt Home Instead Leek & Moorlands we offer support to individuals living in their own home. We are looking for Home Care Assistants to attend visits to our clients in Matlock, Ashbourne & Bakewell. Offer companionship, support, and happiness to our clients, all while enjoying the flexibility that comes with working for us. No experience required - just a friendly personality and the right values.At Home Instead we have minimum 1-hour calls plus suitable travel time to ensure you are not rushed with clients, with mileage reimbursement. We work to match our Care Professionals and clients together so memorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can really get to know your client and their needs.This is a minimum of 25 hours per week contract, but you must be flexible with availability Monday-Friday and alternative weekends, and able to travel to Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and the surrounding Moorlands areas (including Leek, Endon & Brown Edge).First Stage Interviews for this position will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.Job DescriptionResponsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker:Offering warmth and care during visits.Enhance the home atmosphere by aiding in light household chores and meal preparations.Help clients cherish their time with you, sharing in activities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows.Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops.Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.QualificationsRequirements:Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training.
