Surgical Ward Sister/Charge Nurse Up to £50,000 London We are currently working with a private hospital in East London, who are looking for a Surgical Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join their dynamic department. As a Surgical Ward Sister, you will: * Support the Senior Sister/ Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward * Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety * Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care * Work well with consultants who are experts in their field * Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery * Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety What we need from you: * Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC Pin number. * Experience in surgical or acute care settings. * Leadership skills to manage and support a team of nurses. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care standards. * Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions. * Organizational skills for managing patient care plans and ward operations. * Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety protocols. * Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends. * Continuing education to stay updated with nursing practices.
