Job: Therapeutic Care Worker - Full Training Provided

Are you passionate about helping vulnerable children and young people? If you want to make a real difference in their lives, there’s an exciting opportunity to join a Therapeutic Children’s Service as a Therapeutic Residential Care Worker.

Located in the picturesque Kent countryside, their first therapeutic residential children’s home is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and healing environment where young people can flourish. Their trauma-informed approach ensures that children with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioural needs receive the specialised 24/7 care and education they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Work with a dedicated team and partner agencies to deliver personalised care.
Engage in therapeutic activities and support the children’s healing journey.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.
Be a positive role model, sharing hobbies and life skills.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals. Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience working with children, especially in a therapeutic setting, is a plus but not required.
Compassionate, caring nature with a focus on children’s well-being.
Strong communication skills and resilience.
A full driver’s licence is essential.
Minimum age: 21 years. Salary and Benefits:
Starting salary from £31,500, based on experience.
Training and development opportunities, including a Level 3 Diploma.
Access to clinical supervision and reflective practice.
30 days of holiday per year, plus your birthday off.
Pension scheme with a 3% contribution from the company.
