To join this team we look for individuals who demonstrate the following:calmness during crisis situations such as aggression, self harm, destructive behaviours for exampleconfidence in your experience to support you making prompt decisions on a daily basisunderstanding of how trauma, previous experiences and diagnoses can impact day to day behaviours of children and young peoplenon judgemental keeping an open mind and refraining from criticising even during challenging situationsresilience to continue supporting through particularly stressful situations and to keep trying new ways to engage and build trustobservant your observations and outcomes of support will have a significant impact on the childs / young person's journey, you will have heightened awareness levels and the ability to share these insights through your reports and meetings with other professionalsSkills and trainingIdeally drivers licence and business insuranceDBS on update service or support new applicationRegistered with relevant regulatory bodyPMVA trained - ideally or willing to undertake trainingWhat to expect next:We have excellent opportunities to support your professional development within the children's services sector across the UK.
