Position Details: * Position: Healthcare Assistant * Location: Airdrie * Shifts: Days & nights available * Hours per week: 36-48 * £12 per hour About the Home An exciting opportunity has become available to join Xealthcare’s well respected care providers large nursing home, located within the commutable area of Airdrie. We are currently hiring for care assistants to cover day or nights shifts on a permanent, full-time contract. Our clients warm and welcoming nursing home provides person centred care packages for elderly residents who require residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. The care home also specialises in Alzheimer’s care. Position: Healthcare Assistant As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients residents. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, administering medication, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients residents and contribute to their health and happiness. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. * Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. * Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility. * Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. * Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. * Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Requirements: * No qualifications required, although NVQ level 2 & 3 in health and social care would adventurous. * Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred. * Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. * Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
