Residential Care Worker
South Molton, Devon
2 on 4 off shift pattern
Permanent position
£26,426 - £28,275 depending on experience (with an increase after probation)

The Role
As a Therapeutic Practitioner (Residential), you'll play a crucial role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma. Your role will require you to be a mentor and role model, offering emotional support, and providing guidance as they navigate lifes challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting
Act as a positive role model, guiding them through daily challenges
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each individual
Develop and implement care plans tailored to each young persons needs
Support young people in discovering and pursuing their passions

The Ideal Candidate:
Were looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
About you:
Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or a willingness to achieve it
Full UK driving license required
Passionate about working with children and young people
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient
Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team
Experience in residential childcare or similar settings is preferred
