About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Theatre Nurse with experience in scrub, anesthetics, or recovery to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care throughout the perioperative period, working closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care. This role is ideal for a motivated nurse looking to expand their skills in a private clinic environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in the operating theatre, with expertise in scrub, anesthetics, or recovery. Assist in preparing the theatre, equipment, and instruments for a range of surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques during surgeries. Support anesthetists with the preparation and administration of anesthesia. Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and the recovery period, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Accurately manage surgical instruments, swabs, and materials, maintaining strict records. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, infection control protocols, and health and safety standards. Participate in clinical audits, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC registration. Experience in a theatre setting, with a focus on scrub, anesthetics, or recovery. Strong understanding of surgical procedures, patient monitoring, and perioperative care. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail. Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
