Bid Writer - Health & Social Care SectorUK - Home Based£35-45k plus excellent benefitsMy Client, a Leading provider of Adult and Chidrens Social Care services are looking to recruit a bid Writer to be responsible for writing strong tender submissions, which result in successful outcomes. You will help ensure the company retain all existing contracts and win new business, in line with organisational strategic plans and targets for growth. The Bid Writer works collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders, using exceptional writing and interpersonal skills to capture and convey their expertise and approach to delivering services across a variety of areas. The successful candidate will be comfortable working at pace, with strong time-management skills, a keen eye for detail and able to confidently interpret and present a range of information.Duties:Write and coordinate high quality tender submissions that demonstrate their ability to deliver services for current and future business opportunities within our areas of operation, including care and support for adults with learning disabilities and / or autism, mental health needs, forensic services, complex physical health needsCollaborate effectively and efficiently with Operational and Central teams, to ensure their service offer is clearly, consistently, and effectively articulated, working at pace to ensure external deadlines are ,etIdentify and address all specification and evaluation requirements within bid submissionsWork with a variety of data types, using analytical skills to digest, interpret and present a range of information, supporting persuasive tender submissionsComplete pre qualifying questionnaires and manage information through relevant tender portalsDraw upon local knowledge, research, evidence, and data to ensure tender responses are effectively tailored to commissioner and local needsWork effectively with colleagues to support the development of service models, budgets and pricing schedulesEnsure progress towards each submission's deadline date is planned and trackedDeliver successful outcomes from submissionsWork alongside colleagues to create and maintain efficient systems, including maintaining a resource library of information, stock answers and best-practice resources to support tender submissionsWork as part of a project team on larger scale, complex submissions to support one another to research, scope out, write and review high quality responsesReview and evaluate the success of submissions, ensuring continuous improvementEnsure a consistent voice is used across their tenders, aligning with internal and external communications.Skills Required: A proven track record of high-quality bid writing, with clear evidence of highly successful outcomes or evidence of exceptional writing abilityPrevious experience in a bid writing or equivalent/similar roleKnowledge of one or more of the following sector areas: health and social care (essential) temporary and emergency accommodation, housing, young people's and children's services (desirable).Excellent writing ability to inspire and engage a range of audiencesStrong proof-reading and editing skills, with an exceptional eye for accuracy and attention to detail, including ensuring responses adhere to word limitsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of qualityEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster positive collaborative relationships both externally and internally.Ability to digest, interpret and present a range of information, including key data setsA team player, who is able to adapt to emerging needs and prioritiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong Microsoft Office skills and IT Literacy.
