We are currently looking for a highly motivated, compassionate, caring and dedicated care assistant to provide a high standard quality person centered care to service users, assist them with variety of care duties, observing and respecting their dignity, privacy and independence whilst working within the standard agreed ways of working.The job is based in Farnborough and New Forest.Key ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will:Provide support to senior staff in delivering an extremely high standard quality of care to our service users who are living independently in their own homes or in supported accommodation. Provide personal and practical care services to service user with a wide range of illnesses and disabilities.Be a care assistant that is compassionate, caring, treating service users with dignity, respect, working with them as an individual, maintaining their choices, providing general care and more specialised care. Manage the making and changing of beds, tidy rooms, do light cleaning and empty commodes.Assist service users with serving meals, wash up, medication, feeding, getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, mobility, toileting or incontinence care where necessary.Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreation.Follow the agreed ways of working, reading the care plan and documenting in detail the care provided, any changes which have occurred and other relevant information.
