Do you want to be part of an exciting new work stream to help improve the lives and wellbeing of others?We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to provide high-quality nursing care to service users with substance use needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering person-centred substance use interventions and clinical procedures.In this role you will:Complete physical and mental health assessments for people who access our services. Support in the delivery of pharmacological and psychosocial interventions including assessments. Conduct care planning and review of service user's treatment. Conduct assessments of physical dependency and determine safe induction/titration to opiate substitute treatments as required. Conduct detox assessments. To be successful in this role you will be:Qualified at RGN degree level (or equivalent) with current NMC Registration. Relevant experience of working within a substance misuse setting.Knowledge of the issues facing substance users including appropriate medical interventions, social care, and health issues.Significant knowledge and understanding of the legislative, guidance and policy framework around clinical delivery.Highly developed communication and skills, both written and verbal.In return, we offer ongoing training and opportunities to continue your professional development, a generous annual leave entitlement, employee discounts and a great pension scheme.Applicants must have a Full UK Driving License and use of car with business insurance prior to starting the service.Please note, this is a fixed term vacancy until 31.03.2025.The above post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Salary: £36,648 - £38,223
