Role: Technical Assessor
Independent Sub-Contractor role
Location: Remote, UK coverage
About the Company: We are looking to expand our Technical Assessor team. We would like to hear from you if you have experience in human health and social care activities, a background in medical or paramedical fields, and a passion for quality assessment. Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments.
Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive assessments of hospital activities, including general, speciality, psychiatric, and substance abuse hospitals. Evaluating medical and dental practices, including consultations and treatments by general practitioners, specialists, and surgeons. Assessing/auditing the activities of paramedical practitioners in various fields such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and more. Assessing/auditing the services provided by residential care facilities, including nursing homes, mental health care institutions, and facilities for the elderly and disabled. Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications: Medical professional, paramedical practitioner, or health and social care practitioner. Extensive experience in human health care activities, including hospital and outpatient settings. Understanding of medical, diagnostic, and treatment activities across various healthcare facilities associated with the above settings. Excellent observational, analytical, and reporting skills.
