This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with significant experience in SACT, and intravenous administration of treatments for autoimmune diseases (IBD, MS, RA, etc), to join our developing team in the Systemic Therapies Unit (within the Renal and Systemic Therapies Unit). As part of the Caithness General Redesign Programme, this new model of care provides day-case services to improve care and reduce the need for prolonged hospital stay, thus treating the population on an outpatient basis. We are looking for a candidate who is pro-active, dynamic and motivated to further develop our staff and the needs of our fast paced and diverse working unit. As part of a satellite integrated team, and with the support of the Senior Charge Nurse, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of care within the setting, leading the team on a daily basis and coordinating patient care and management of the unit. The candidate must be able to demonstrate good organisation and communication skills, and will facilitate change within the delivery of the service as an integral part of its shaping. The post holder will be required to be adaptable and able to demonstrate leadership skills.
