Nicholas James Care Homes and Regal Care Trading Limited, leading providers of nursing, dementia, and residential care, have an opening for the position of Home Manager to join our outstanding team in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

As a Home Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents and will be reporting to the Operations Director and CEO directly. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in overseeing the operations of a care home.

  • Leading with Passion: Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Ensuring that the provisions of person-centred care to residents, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Championing Resident Care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and adherence to care plans. Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Excellence in Operations: Collaborate with the Manager to maintain regulatory compliance and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home facility. Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Supervise and train care staff on best practices.
  • Commitment to Quality: Maintain accurate records and foster continuous improvement by regularly evaluating care and implementing changes.
  • Safety First: Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.


Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a management role within the healthcare or residential care industry.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, always prioritising their well-being.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and make informed decisions to optimise operational performance.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Must be a UK resident or have settled status.
