Dental Nurse

As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the comfort of patients, and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the necessary instruments and materials- Ensure the comfort of patients by providing support and reassurance throughout their visit- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dental office, treatment rooms, and waiting areas- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructionsRequirements:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role- Proficient in English language- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Basic IT skills for managing patient records- Ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and compassionNote: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.Job Type: Full-timePay: £12.55-£14.50 per hourExpected hours: 8 per weekAdditional pay:* Loyalty bonusBenefits:* Company pension* Employee discount* Free parking* Sick paySchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)* Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:* Valid GDC registration (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: APDN
