Senior Data Scientist - (Drug Discovery)

Senior AI Data Scientist Up to £100,000 London Driving innovation with AI and machine learning to accelerate drug discovery and transform healthcare. COMPANY Harnham has partnered up with a Pharma Group using advanced AI technology to develop life-changing medicines faster and more efficiently. Their innovative approach has produced a promising pipeline of treatments, with their leading therapy moving closer to clinical trials. ROLE: Lead development of AI algorithms, focusing on AI/ML techniques and Large Language Models to advance drug discovery. You will build machine learning models, advocate for good coding practices, and ensure proper testing for high-quality results. You will work closely with bioinformaticians, biologists, chemists, and analysts to explore and develop AI/ML tools for data analysis. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: You need to have a MSc or PhD level in STEM subject. You must have proven knowledge of the implementation of Machine Learning models/LLM Models. MLOPs/DevOps experience in CI/CD. Experience using Tensorflow, Kubernetes, MLFlow, Kafka, and Airflow. Experience using Python is a must (tools like AWS and Spark are beneficial) Excellent communication skills and team and colleague engagement. Expertise in large-scale computation. Experience in a research environment. Experience in LLMs/(Langchain).
