Care Manager

A dynamic domiciliary care provider in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a full-time Care Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a children’s care home setting, whilst also contributing to its’ continued growth and development.    The position would suit an ambitious individual a background in working with children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care settings and have strong leadership skills to oversee delivering high-quality care to children and families in the community.    As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service to deliver high-quality care to clients. Providing line management to the staff team including recruitment, training, provision and performance management. Arranging staff rosters efficiently and leading office staff effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, families and professionals involved in the care of clients. Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and other regulatory bodies. Maintaining accurate records, conducting regular audits, and acting on survey feedback to drive continuous improvement.    The Care Manager will have the following skills and attributes: Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at various levels.   Knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management, and reimbursement with a good understanding of CQC regulations is essential. Previous experience working in a management role social care, healthcare or social work would be a distinct advantage. Full UK driving license and use of a vehicle is essential.    You will be working up to 40 hours per week from the office in Stoke-on-Trent, Monday to Friday, as well as other locations locally.    Appointment will be subject to Enhanced DBS clearance, right to work checks and satisfactory references.    If you would like to apply for the Care Manager position, click apply and send us your CV
