Associate - Mid-Market PE GP

We are currently working with a leading mid-market PE fund, who after completing their most recent fundraise, are now looking to add an Associate to its London team.

The fund, which has a strong track record over a number of decades in investing across the lower to mid-market space and can offer the opportunity to join a dynamic team, with multi-region coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and source investment opportunities in the lower to mid-market space.
• Develop relationships with investment banks, brokers, financial sponsors, and industry professionals.
• Lead in-depth financial analysis, modelling, and valuation of potential investments.
• Oversee and coordinate due diligence processes, including financial, operational, legal, and market assessments.
• Prepare and present detailed investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Manage all aspects of deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience within PE, VC or in M&A.
• Proven track record of successful deal origination, execution, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of credit markets, debt instruments, and investment structures.
• Exceptional financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of credit agreements, legal documentation, and negotiation processes
