Job Advert: Social Worker - Children in Care Location: Aylesbury Salary: £37,533 - £44,569 (in addition, you will receive a market premium of £2,750 per annum if appointed to a Grade 7 position) Overview We have exciting opportunities for a Social Worker within our supportive Children In Care team. We are looking for a passionate individual dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people. Our Children in Care Team is a large, busy service comprising social workers and 16+ social workers. We adopt a child-centred approach, working collaboratively with children and their families. About the Role As a Social Worker in our team, you will support children living with relatives, friends, foster families, or in children's homes and semi-independent units. Through regular visits, assessments, and care plan reviews, you will nurture and develop meaningful relationships with these children. Your role will involve understanding their wishes and championing their potential. Occasionally, you will be required to prepare reports and attend court. You will receive regular supervision and collaborate with partner organisations, including Health Services, CAMHS, IROs, and carers.
