SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant

SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant needed in a Mainstream Primary School 5 days per week term time (8:30am - 3.30pm) ASAP Start  A popular mainstream primary school in Kings Heath are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is comfortable helping with Personal Care to work within their school and help generally across all year groups with those children who have complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very well respected and popular school which has a very warm feel to it and is a great opportunity to gain long term employment. The hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm , Monday to Friday during term time. This role involves being proactive and passionate, and you must have initiative to get involved and help the children when they are distressed, or in situations that may need de-escalating. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, and creating close relationships with the student, therefore it is essential that you are passionate about getting the very best from the students and their learning, and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
