Job Role: Health & Social Care Teacher Location: Tower Hamlets Rate: £185 - £255 per day Start Date: November 2024 Contract: Initially temporary until December, with potential extension to January 2025, Part Time - 3 days per week Are you an inspiring Health & Social Care Teacher ready to make a difference in a vibrant secondary school in Tower Hamlets? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis to teach students across KS4 and KS5. As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire students to excel in their studies. You will play a key role in helping students understand essential topics within Health & Social Care, preparing them for exams and their future careers. Health & Social Care Teacher Responsibilities: Teach Health & Social Care to KS4 and KS5 students. Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the curriculum. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress. Support students’ personal development and academic success. Work closely with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contribute to department meetings and initiatives. Health & Social Care Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience as a Health & Social Care Teacher at KS4 & KS5. Strong knowledge of the Health & Social Care curriculum. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. A passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
