We are looking for a reliable Health &Social Care Trainer to deliver excellent quality home care training to new recruits and existing staff members within a comfortable and friendly environment. You will be based at our six domiciliary care offices in Preston, Chorley, Southport, Blackpool, Blackburn & Trafford also at ourResidential Home Victoria House in Brierfield, Rivington Park Nursing home in Chorley and our Day are Centre Charlotte House in Preston.

Delta Care Ltd is a CQC registered care provider, delivering domiciliary care services to individuals within Preston, Chorley, Southport, Blackpool, Blackburn, and Trafford. We also have a Residential Care Home in Brierfield, A Nursing home in Chorleyand a Day care Centre in Preston.


Some of the topics you will be required to deliver:

* Safeguarding
* Emergency First Aid
* Medication administration
* Dementia
* Palliative Care
* Moving and Handling

Hours of work:
- Full-time role

- 35 hours per week, working from 9 am until 4 pm.

-Half hour paid lunch break.

- Monday to Friday

This role will involve traveling to all our branches as and when required, therefore, it is essential that you have your own transport.

You will be liaising with our branch Registered Managers and with the HR and Recruitment department.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, a confident communicator, and passionate about ensuring the competency of all training candidates.

  • A recognized trainer qualification and experience in delivering the Care Certificate is desirable but not a requirement. Experience of care yourself is desirable- We feel this is more important than recognized training qualifications.
  • Experience in conducting quality training in a face-to-face environment within a Social Care setting is essential.
  • It's an essential requirement to be able to deliver the Care Certificate in a professional and engaging way.
  • Able to monitor and effectively carry out competency assessments
  • Access to your own transport

We will offer you additional training, and regular 'train the trainer' courses and further to this we can support the right candidate to gain a qualification within this field.
