As a Senior Staff Nurse - Wards (Band 6), you will: Ensure the delivery of the highest standard of patient care during procedures. Monitor and maintain the quality of care provided, ensuring it meets hospital and national guidelines. Implement and adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment. Liaise with various departments across the hospital to ensure seamless patient care. Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan patient care strategies. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and well-being. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex and changing health needs. Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary. Actively promote and implement best nursing practices within the ward. Identify areas for improvement in patient care and work with the team to develop and implement solutions. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to enhance patient care and service delivery.
