Learning Disability Nurse

Looking for a Senior Learning Disability Nurse for a temporary role in the area of Wigan. The post holder will be an experienced senior learning disability nurse with knowledge and skills in supporting people with a learning disability with complex needs, as well as the provision of positive behavioural support. Adaptability, good communication skills and self-motivation are essential to the role. You will also be able to demonstrate that your practice is evidence based and innovative. Your role will include: - One day a week (shifts could be varied in times for flexibility throughout the day but no late-night shifts). - Assess the implementation of the PBS plan as well as provide staff training and support - Provide feedback on a weekly basis to IST. - Review incident report quality and offer support/ advice to improve this.
