Registered Mental Nurse in Prisons

Tezlom are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within a prison based in North London. A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are: * To assess health and social care needs and negotiate care plans with patients and staff * To undertake risk assessments * To work within the Prison Service safer custody framework for managing Suicide and self-harm * To work closely with other departments to ensure that all risks are assessed and managed. * To function fully within the Integrated Mental Health Team, assessing and treating patients through their journey in prison. * To accept referrals and triage patients with the team. * To undertake comprehensive assessments * To provide effective case management * To ensure effective pre-release care planning Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurse: * Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health) * Ideally you must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison Tezlom offer all Registered Nurses: * Optional workplace pension scheme * NMC Revalidation support and guidance * A second income, weekly pay every Friday * Provided Uniforms, ID Badge & timesheets * Advanced shifts, last minute shifts, flexible working, block bookings * Excellent pay rates * Holidays accumulation for working certain number of hours If this sounds like the right kind of role for you, we will be happy to hear from you.
