Job reference: AR/24/10/24/2 Job Title: ACT Pharmacy Technician Band 4/5 Location: NHS Hospital, Central London Working Hours: 5 days per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 30 minute break Start Date: November 2024 Rates: £17-22ph – depending on experience Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ACT Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s dynamic team at an NHS Hospital in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for community-experienced ACTs or newly registered ACTs looking to enhance their skills in a hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. Manage inventory and stock control of pharmaceuticals. Participate in patient medication reviews and consultations. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Registered as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in your role.
