Compass Associates are working with a growing healthcare organisation, dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care and services to their patients, in their search for a Business Operations Director.
As a member of their leadership team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring overall company success, growth and clinical excellence. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, drive revenue growth and enhance brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
You will be an enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to energise those around you, you will be joining a company during a period of growth. You will have an understanding/experience working in the private acute market space. It is essential that you can evidence company growth in the healthcare sector, with consultant engagement experience.
The Candidate
My client is seeking a Director of Operations with strong integrity and resilience, commercial nous, leadership and operational experience. You will have an open and honest approach and pro-active personality. You will be expected to provide strategic direction and leadership to the organisation to maximise the operational and financial performance, with an aim to further develop the service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior manager to work for an established organisation.
Due to the nature of this role it is essential that all interested candidates have experience in the healthcare market, they will consider candidates from the NHS or independent sector. This is a full-time position, although hours will usually fall between Monday- Friday, some flexibility is needed for the demands of the company. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced senior manager with a passion for providing excellent standards of patient care. You must have excellent communication and written skills, with recent management experience in an acute healthcare setting.
Requirements
You will have a minimum 5 years' experience at management level within a private/independent healthcare organisation. Experience building relationships with consultants and key stakeholders is essential.

- Change management within healthcare/ commercial environment
- Proven delivery with EBITDA growth margins
- Leadership, team management and strategic planning experience
- Experience dealing with CQC compliance and preparation for inspection
