Role: Care and Support Workers Hours: 20 contracted hours + 4 hours flex-up hours ( guaranteed contractual hours giving you job security with the additional 4 hours flex-up to boost your pay) Salary: £12.34 per hour (flex-up hours will be paid at £12.34 per hour) Location: Bournville Gardens Retirement Village - Birmingham, Bristol Road South Please note: All Care and Support Workers will need to be fully flexible across a 7-day rota system, which will be given in advance and will be expected to work weekends as required to meet the needs of the domiciliary care service. As a Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks: Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents Encourage independence and self-belief Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy Care Support Worker Person Specification Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification Personable, an effective communicator and a team player Passionate about delivering a quality care service Flexible with hours An extremely rewarding career awaits you if you like working in a friendly and supportive team, with variety and a fantastic working environment.
