Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Healthcare assistants to join our existing teams within Outpatients at Chard and Dene Barton community hospitals. We are looking for HCA's who as well as having excellent organisational and people skills, possess a variety of nursing skills including venepuncture, spirometry, and ECGs.We are a dedicated and supportive team that provides treatment and care to a wide variety of patients. Our departments are busy, unpredictable environments, where we care for a variety of patients attending appointments for a wide range of specialties including Dermatology, ENT, Rheumatology, Urology, and many more. Our departments are currently open Monday to Friday.Experience of working in an Outpatient setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, updates, and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided, so a willingness to learn and take on challenges as the service develops is key.
