Job Description:
About the Company: Four surgery mixed dental practice in West Bromwich requires an Experienced Dental Nurse to join their expanding team. The practice has 3 dentists, dental therapist and a team of nurses and receptionists. They are passionate about providing high quality dentistry for their patients and a safe environment for all.
About the Role: As a qualified and experienced dental nurse with at least 5 years experience post qualification you will support the daily clinical operations, including developing the less experienced nurses, ensure high standards of cross infection control and work alongside the compliance manager to maintain a strong compliance status in the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Chairside dental nursing, working with the clinicians to provide smooth running of the surgery
- Delivering a high standard of patient care
- Mentoring and developing lesser skilled nurses
- Meeting the requirements and standards of HTM 01-05, GDC and CQC
- Infection Control
- Undertaking audits and administrative tasks as required
- Supporting the smooth running of the practice
- Other responsibilities as requested
Qualifications: Dental Nursing Qualification and registration with the GDC
Must hold up to date CPD, have all necessary immunisations and all other necessary compliance documents.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in a NHS dental practice
- At least 5 years dental nursing experience
- Sound knowledge of HTM 01-05 and CQC standards
- Good people skills
- Strong communicator

- Able to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems
- Be a good role model to your colleagues
- Friendly and approachable
- Punctual and conscientious
Preferred Skills:
- Treatment coordinator skills (desired)
Pay range and compensation package: From £13 per hour but negotiable dependant on experience. Bonus Scheme and Online CPD with iLearn.
Expected Hours: Full Time, 38 hours per week
