Healthcare Litigation Associate (3+ PQE)£65,000 - £90,000+Fully RemoteA Legal 100 firm based in London and recognised for their top tier Legal 500 work is looking for a fully remote solicitor to join their Healthcare team. This busy role would allow you to work on a wide variety of defendant matters (the majority of which are regulatory focused), including claims, regulatory advice, criminal investigations, inquests and inquiry, for healthcare clients including doctors, surgeons, physicians, dentists, and other professionals. These clients may come from an NHS or private capacity and be regulated by one of several healthcare regulatory bodies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional, looking to work from home on an exciting and varied caseload!Responsibilities:Assisting healthcare professionals in proceedings before healthcare regulators including the GMC, GDC, HCPC, and NMC.Representing healthcare professionals MHPS, private hospital disciplinary cases, clinical negligence claims.Advising clients and giving medico-legal guidance on pre-action matters and policy coverage relating to insurance schemes.Research appropriate case law and technical and legal precedents to progress matters.Clearly communicate with colleagues and clients.Skills and Experience:UK qualified Solicitor with experience in a healthcare litigation team, ideally with 3+ PQE.Strong experience dealing with defendant regulatory matters is essential.Developed empathy and interpersonal skills with good abilities to work in a team.Strong technical ability including thoroughness and excellent attention to detailA strong interest in healthcare law and defendant matters.This firm offers an excellent opportunity progress your career on a fully-remote basis in well-known Legal 100 London firm.
