Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry Barnet £85,000 - £95,000 per annum Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Are you a dedicated psychiatrist looking to make a meaningful difference in patient care? We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speciality Doctor in Psychiatry to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (MDT). You'll play a crucial role in providing patient-centered care, supporting service development, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective treatment and smooth transitions for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and facilitate admissions for new patients, ensuring each patient's unique needs are identified and addressed from the start. Obtain comprehensive histories from professionals and families, collaborating with the MDT to formulate accurate diagnoses and individualized care plans. Support regular physical health checks and work closely with GPs providing weekly clinics to promote holistic health management. Complete discharge letters, reports, and prepare reports for First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Facilitate the effective functioning of the Care Programme Approach and assist in developing and implementing treatment plans. Work with the on-site Pharmacist to ensure safe, evidence-based prescribing practices. Coordinate with external professionals and commissioners to support seamless community transitions and continuity of care. Actively participate in Clinical Governance activities, audits, research, and teaching to support ongoing service improvements.
