Role Overview:
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents within the care home and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal support.
* Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff.
* Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical professionals.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications/Experience:
* At least 6 months experience as a Health Care Assistant or similar role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.
* Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
* Flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
