Join McCarthy Stone as a Care and Support Assistant and play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our homeowners across North Bristol's Retirement Living developments.About the Role: As a Care and Support Assistant, you'll provide personalized care and domestic support to our homeowners, helping them maintain independence and enjoy their retirement. This is a field-based role, requiring travel between multiple developments in the North Bristol area, with all travel expenses covered. You'll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor to deliver high-quality care services, from assisting with personal care and household tasks to offering companionship and supporting social activities.Key Responsibilities: Support Individual Homeowners: Provide personalized care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance. Offer domestic support such as cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks. Housekeeping: Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for all homeowners. Social Support: Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and attending appointments, enhancing their overall well-being and social connections.What We're Looking For: Skills & Experience: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your time effectively. Previous experience in a care environment is desirable, with a good understanding of adult safeguarding and care regulations. Driving License: This is a field-based role, so a valid UK driving license is required, along with a willingness to travel between developments in North Bristol. Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, late shifts, and alternate weekends. Willingness to undertake extra shifts to support on-call requirements.Why Join Us?
