Nursery Nurse

An opportunity has arisen for a level 3 Nursery nurse to join a friendly nursery in Chelmsford, Essex. If you have experience of working with babies in an early year setting we want to hear from you.   Person Specification: NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable) Paediatric First Aid (Desirable) Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will Include: Key worker responsibilities and ensure children’s development records are maintained To comply with all nursery policy and procedures To work with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities   To provide children with personal care To promote equal opportunity and ensure each individual child’s needs are met To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals To ensure safe stimulating environment for children To attend monthly staff meetings and further training as required Benefits: Training ongoing support and career development Due to the nature of this job, candidates will be subject to UK eligibility checks together with Enhance Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks For immediate interview please email Staff Match your up to date CV or call (phone number removed)
