Job title: Deputy Hospital Manager (RMN/RNLD)

Location: Bradford

Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30pm including taking part with on call).

Salary: £65,000 per annum

About the Role:

As the Deputy Hospital Manager (RMN/RNLD), you'll be stepping into a dynamic leadership role where you'll have a direct impact on the quality of care provided. Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (with on-call duties), you'll help ensure that all departments, from psychology to occupational therapy, run smoothly and effectively.

You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing operational and clinical leadership while driving forward innovative care practices. The role offers you the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives and work alongside talented professionals, all with the goal of ensuring patient recovery in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.


About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: A qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Leadership: A proven track record in leading teams and promoting high standards of care.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to inspire, engage, and present information effectively to a senior audience.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience working with external partners, commissioners, and stakeholders, while navigating complex clinical situations.
  • Patient Focus: A commitment to setting therapeutic boundaries and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a positive, supportive manner.
