Occupational Therapist - Community Care

Please note this is a part-time role. We are currently looking for someone who can commit to a one day per week, with the opportunity to increase the hours over time. In addition to this, you will be expected to be closely involved in discharge planning and immediate follow up from the service user care. Our Occupational Therapists are expected to manage clients using evidence based and client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions which provide clients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living. Holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with a full BVAOT membership and HPC registration. Previous post registration experience of working with clients who have had an eating disorder or other mental health condition. Ability to work without direct supervision. Review and reflect on own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal. Contribute to ensuring that Orri safeguarding policies and procedures are followed consistently.
