Dental Nurse

Job Description:About the Company: Four surgery mixed dental practice in West Bromwich requires an Experienced Dental Nurse to join their expanding team. The practice has 3 dentists, dental therapist and a team of nurses and receptionists. They are passionate about providing high quality dentistry for their patients and a safe environment for all.About the Role: As a qualified and experienced dental nurse with at least 5 years experience post qualification you will support the daily clinical operations, including developing the less experienced nurses, ensure high standards of cross infection control and work alongside the compliance manager to maintain a strong compliance status in the practice.Responsibilities:Chairside dental nursing, working with the clinicians to provide smooth running of the surgeryDelivering a high standard of patient careMentoring and developing lesser skilled nursesMeeting the requirements and standards of HTM 01-05, GDC and CQCInfection ControlUndertaking audits and administrative tasks as requiredSupporting the smooth running of the practiceOther responsibilities as requestedQualifications: Dental Nursing Qualification and registration with the GDCMust hold up to date CPD, have all necessary immunisations and all other necessary compliance documents.Required Skills:Previous experience in a NHS dental practiceAt least 5 years dental nursing experienceSound knowledge of HTM 01-05 and CQC standardsGood people skillsStrong communicatorExceptional organisational skillsAble to think on your feet and troubleshoot problemsBe a good role model to your colleaguesFriendly and approachablePunctual and conscientiousPreferred Skills:Treatment coordinator skills (desired)Pay range and compensation package: From £13 per hour but negotiable dependant on experience.
