Responsibilities:
Conduct a combination of file-work and face-to-face assessments of customers regarding various benefits, providing detailed reports to the DWP. File-work involves reviewing medical evidence in written or electronic format to determine the necessity of a face-to-face assessment. Assessments focus on how disabilities impact customers' daily work-related activities.
Utilize IT software programs to support clinical decision-making during file-work and examinations.
Provide comprehensive reports to enable DWP Decision Makers to make informed benefit claim decisions.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' acute clinical experience
Broad-based clinical experience in an acute setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, empathetic, and professional manner
Strong computer and IT skills
Right to work in the UK
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a targeted team
Adaptability and flexibility under pressure
