Flexibility is required for this role as you will be coving a mixture of shift patterns to include morning, afternoon and long day shifts and also have the availability to work alternative weekendsA day in the life of a Care AssistantCompanionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagementPersonal care -supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.Medication -Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.About AgincareWe're a family run business caring for people since 1986.
