Buyer - Pharmaceutical

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with innovative and exciting growth plan, they are currently looking for a Buyer to be part of their team. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the procurement team. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of pharmaceutical products and raw materials across multiple countries, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply to manufacturing sites and distribution centers. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies for multiple countries to ensure optimal supply chain efficiencyNegotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendorsMonitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless operationsManage and analyse procurement data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-makingRequirementsEducated to degree level in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldProven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industryProficiency in procurement software and toolsStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesPark Street People Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
