Deputy Nurse Manager Full-time or Part-time // Days or Nights up to 39 hours available £48,000+ per annum // £24ph+ Keady Area, Co Armagh I'm thrilled to be searching for an experianced Deputy Nurse Manager in the Keady area. The Successful Candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated nursing professional, possessing strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to elderly and vulnerable residents. This individual will be an excellent communicator, an empathetic caregiver, and a proactive problem solver, ensuring residents' well-being and comfort in a supportive environment. To be a positive, visible role model; promoting our person-cantered philosophy of care to staff, the wider community, and visiting professionals Maintain a consistently high standard of clinical and social care. Writing, reviewing, and updating clinical policies and procedures as appropriate Shadow the Nurse manager and Cover for the Nurse Manager when needed Support the financial effectiveness of the home, ensuring the home operates within budget through effective use of resources and identifying areas to improve efficiency. Provide information and support to patients families regarding care plans and treatment options. Engage families in care decisions and discharge planning. Emergency Response and Crisis Management Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans. Train staff in emergency procedures and conduct drills regularly Lead the nursing team during emergencies and critical incidents. Ensure proper documentation and review of incidents to improve future responses. Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate nursing staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and families. In-depth clinical knowledge and the ability to provide expert guidance. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records. Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient care and staff interactions.
