We are currently seeking dedicated Crisis Nurses to join our team in Cumbria. As a Crisis Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate mental health support and intervention to individuals experiencing a crisis.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisisProvide crisis intervention and stabilization techniquesAdminister medications as prescribed and monitor their effectivenessCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop crisis management plansOffer emotional support and counseling to individuals and their familiesFacilitate referrals to appropriate mental health services and resourcesMaintain accurate documentation of interventions and progressRequirements:Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Experience in mental health crisis interventionExcellent assessment and crisis management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situationsEmpathy and compassion for individuals in crisisFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidaysWe are offering competitive hourly rates ranging from £35 to £48, depending on your experience and qualifications.
