We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nursing Associate. In this role, you will work independently under the guidance of registered nurses, adhering to the NMC code of conduct and the Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates. Your responsibilities will encompass the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care for students. As part of both the clinical team and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in teaching, supporting, and mentoring other staff members to ensure the highest quality of clinical care is delivered to students. Key Responsibilities: Delivering direct clinical care to students in accordance with their care plans and within the scope of the nursing associate role. Accessing and seeking advice as needed to ensure effective and safe care delivery. Liaising and communicating effectively with staff, managers, and service users at all levels. Timely and appropriately informing colleagues and staff of any changes to student needs, care plans, or risk assessments. Providing theoretical clinical training to care staff, both one-on-one and in small groups. Qualifications, skills and experience: Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification Recent experience of working in the health or care sector undertaking a range of delegated clinical skills Evidence of continued professional development and clinical supervision Experience of medication management and administration The ability to keep calm under pressure when dealing with challenging behaviours Experience of teaching individuals or groups or willing to develop teaching skills Experience of providing care to clients with a range of clinical care needs (for example gastrostomy, oxygen therapy, pressure area care, wound dressing, diabetes monitoring, oral suction, catheter care) Recent experience of working with young adults Excellent communication skills Benefits: Access to specialist training and supervision.
