We have various Care Assistants and Support workers vacancies across the High Wycombe, Amersham and Aylesbury area and we will be running a recruitment interview day on 22nd October 2024 in High Wycombe for all our schemes below.  (recent applicants need not reapply).  About the Role All our schemes below provide supported living for individuals with learning disabilities. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy helping others and seeing the difference their support can make to enable individuals to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We have vacancies in the current locations, (full and part time from 22.5 hours to 37.5 hours p/w); High Wycombe;  Grove Gardens, HP13 7FU Ashley Drive, HP10 8BQ Cressex Road, HP12 7DR Amersham; White Lion Road, HP7 9NR Aylesbury; Trinity Court, HP19 8AB Aplin Road, HP21 9BU Working shifts and as part of a dedicated team, you will be following agreed support plans to ensure we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs and supports their aspirations. Our Care Assistants will follow risk assessment as well as contribute to risk management planning. As part of the role you will also be responsible for providing personal care to our residents who have learning disabilities. We also have Support Worker roles available for people with current or previous experience at this level.  About you We provide a structured induction and comprehensive training to support you with your role and you will have the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification. We are looking for passionate people who with a `can-do` attitude who are driven by the desire to make a difference and who have the ability to recognise the wishes and needs of vulnerable adults and communicate effectively using different methods according to people`s needs. You will need to be able to work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working. You must be able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and be flexible in your approach to work. You will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting people with learning disabilities.
