An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join a medium sized elderly residential home based in Southport.

The home are recruiting for senior care assistants to join their experienced and qualified care team on permanent contracts.

Please see details below: £13.65ph Night shifts 22 or 33 hours per week

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• A kind and caring person • Previous experience in administering medication • Previous experience as a senior care assistant in a care home • NVQ3 or higher in Health & Social Care

Responsibilities:

* Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting

* Manage a team of care assistants

* Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients
