Hospitality Manager (Care Home) – Eye, Suffolk Salary: £30,000 per year (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent Shift: Day shifts About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Hospitality Manager to join our team and provide our residents with an outstanding experience. You will oversee all aspects of hospitality, including food service, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring that every service aligns with our commitment to healthy living and high-quality care. If you have proven experience in hospitality management within a care home, hotel, or similar environment, and understand relevant employment, health and safety legislation, we would love to hear from you! Reports to: Homes Manager / Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager Key Responsibilities Create a caring service experience that reflects our family values: compassion, empathy, and transparency. Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, improvement, and excellent service. Deliver exceptional experiences for residents by surpassing their needs and expectations. Oversee food service operations, working closely with the chef to ensure timely, quality meals. Develop engaging activities that promote fun, well-being, and resident interests. Ensure a great first impression and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Address maintenance issues quickly to keep the facility in top condition. Manage the hospitality budget, meeting revenue targets and controlling costs. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to enhance community engagement. Ensure staff are well-trained and equipped for their roles. Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, employment laws, and maintain thorough records.Skills and Attributes Previous hospitality management experience, ideally in a hotel or care home setting. Excellent communication, motivational, and people skills. Genuine interest in engaging regularly with residents and their families. Strong organisational skills and good time management.
