Private Associate Dentist

*Maia Dental* are looking for a part-time associate. The practice was set up over 50 years ago and has undergone a full refurbishment since Dr Will Walsh took ownership 3 years ago. All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description. You will be working in surgery with high-end equipment + materials, Adec chair, digital OPT, rotary Endo, Dentally Software, iTero Lumina & Trios 3 scanners. *The practice* * Modern practice with well-sized, air conditioned surgeries * 10 minutes from the centre of Leeds * Free parking * Long standing patients on Practice Plan (covering Exams and Hygiene, Fee per item for treatment) * Small NHS contract for children only * Practice offers: Cosmetic, Invisalign, Teeth Whitening, Facial Aesthetics and all General Dentistry. We also have an Oral Surgeon in clinic one Saturday a month. Looking to offer implants in the near future. * Supportive and friendly team of Associates, Practice Manager, 1 Hygienist, 1 Hygiene/Therapist and 4 Nurses. * Principal dentist is supportive and willing to assist with treatment planning/ ClinChecks where needed to build experience *Role Details:* * £10 / UDA (Children) - no target * 45% private * 50% lab split * 1-3 days per week (practice flexible on days worked, please enquire for availability) * Start ASAP *Required:* * GDC registered * NHS performer number preferable * Indemnity Insurance * Hep B Immunisation Education: * BDS/BChD equivalent * Evidence of training courses and post grad qualifications are beneficial Experience * 5+ years experience essential * Portfolio of work would be beneficial * Competent in all aspects of general dentistry * Cosmetic dentistry beneficial * Special interest in Endodontics would be a beneficial - this role could be separate though * Excellent patient communication skills and a good team player If you are interested, please send your CV Job Type: Part-time Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * No weekends Education: * Bachelor's (required) Work Location: In person
